How does Sciton BBL work?
The Sciton BBL is a hand controlled device which uses a non invasive treatment method known as photorejuvenation to fade age spots on the skin. BBL Photorejuvenation is based on an “Intense Pulsed Light” technology. The device emits a spectrum of light of varying wavelengths with the wavelengths specifically customized to suit your skin type and its needs. The light from the device delivers thermal energy to the skin cells to stimulate the production of collagen. As collagen forms, both the superficial and deeper dermal layers are rejuvenated to give an even toned and revitalized skin.
The procedure is performed by a trained BBL physician. The average treatment session takes about 20 to 30 minutes and 4 to 6 sessions spread out at 3 to 4 week intervals is enough to produce visible results. However most guests see dramatic results after as little as just one treatment. The treatment is not just fast, it is convenient and is applicable to any part of the body. Although it is pain free, there may be a slight feeling of discomfort as the BBL device is moved over the treatment area. There is no “downtime” needed for recovery and you can resume your regular activities once a session is over.
While it is recommended that you get all blemishes evaluated by a dermatologist, you should know that age spots aren’t dangerous. Nevertheless, they are not aesthetically pleasing either which is why people are always on the look out for effective ways to get rid of them. Do not let anything stand in your way of achieving flawless skin. Sciton BBL photorejuvenation well help you know what it feels like to live past your prime while looking like you’re still in your prime.
